Inspired Business Cultures

We are in the midst of the most important organizational movement of our lifetime – the culture movement. Together with you and other wise contributors this new Institute will grow this movement, help to mature it, and sustain it.

Creating the Institute for Inspired Organizational Cultures, a nonprofit organization, is an authentic collaborative planning and decision process. Employees, management, consultants, researchers, educators and students from around the world will shape and guide the Institute. The web site at inspiredorganizationalcultures.org presents the Institute. It is a place for providing advice for designing, guiding and growing the Institute. One part of the site is a journal to record milestones and keep you current on progress about the Institute’s creation and evolution.

Everyone who participates in this adventure will be proud to be a part of this movement that increases employee happiness and consequently improves all other metrics of organizational success.

Below are possible initiatives. What do you think?

"Please share your thoughts in a short survey"
Will you do that?

Yes, I'll do that!
  • Local chapters: Local chapters foster a grass roots movement.
  • Annual conferences: Annual conferences will be premier events featuring speakers who have created humanistic organizational cultures.
  • Executive retreats: CEOs are the drivers of inspired cultures. A need exists to educate CEOs on the theory and practice of the culture movement. These exclusive events will be a combination of play and learning in resort-like locations.
  • Outreach: The Institute will be a source of recommended resources for speakers, consultants, and educators.
  • Publishing: Authors will profile organizations with exceptional cultures. These profiles will first appear on the Institute’s blog and then be accumulated for publication in books.
  • Certification for Culture Consultants: This will be similar to certification models in other professions.
  • Research Center: The Institute will lead the effort to establish a research center at a university where the center will be sponsored by a well-known exceptional corporation, e.g., the “Whole Foods Culture Research Center”.

The above is brief, but hopefully it gives you enthusiasm to share your thoughts and ideas for how to move forward.
